Marijampolė Meilės Lukšienės Education Center

Established on the 17th of June in 1993, in the former synagogue building, the organisation with no precedents was not forced into a rigid framework. The Education Centre sought for its own path, direction and mode of operation.

Today, the Education Centre is a twice accredited institution that has survived various administrative reforms. It organises teachers’ training courses, non-formal adult education and cultural activities for educators and residents of Marijampole and other regions.

The scope of activities – more than 350 qualification improvement, non-formal adult education, cultural and other events every year, 10 thousand participants, including teachers, students’ parents, professionals in other fields and people of the region.
